Jury Comment: We would like to give a special mention to a highly cinematographic film that comes unobtrusively close to its subjects: young criminal boys from rural Russsia who are locked up in a home for juvenile delinquents. Synopsis:

Adolescent boys struggle to grow up in a home for juvenile delinquents in rural Russia, where life behind bars may be better than the release to freedom.

Biografía:

Alexandra Westmeier Salomatova nació en Chelyabinsk, Rusia, en 1973. Estudió teatro y cine en la Academia de Drama en St. Petersburg y Moscú. Desde 2001 vive en Alemania, donde primero trabajó como reportera de televisión y ahora se enfoca en la realización de documentales.
